I forgot to post this! Well, better late than never.
Another awesome tournament for the "Team Maggies Dream" (Team Maggie For a Cure) charity. My friend, Steve, from NC came down again and fished it with me.
Pre-fishing is always a highlight for us. This year was no exception. We scouted various areas of the lake and caught a few spots. On the day before the actual tournament we got into some Stripers pretty good. We were catching them one after another with a few doubles. I think it was one of the best days I have experienced on the lake.
Tournament day, a fop!
We started out for our planned spots out of East Bank with plans to boat up lake to the check in area at Little Hall. No sooner than we got set up, a heavy fog rolled in and shut us down.
We decided for safety reasons we would pack up and take the boat out. We drove up to Little Hall and sure enough it was a beautiful day up there LOL. No worries, we had some food while they announced the winners and did the raffle.
Maybe it will go better next year!
