These are what I use while Striper fishing. I put planner boards off each side and the floats straight out the back. The small ones are Water Bugz & the larger ones are marked "Perfect Planner" I believe they are made locally.

Target Practice in Virginia
Santa brought me a new gun as an early Christmas gift so I took it with me up to Virginia to sight it in.
They had rain and snow on and off so I did not get to spend as much time on it as I would have liked but I got it pretty close in about 40 rounds. I set the target at 50 yards and used a 2x4 nailed to a tree as a rest for the rail. I think with a stable rest I could have achieved a much tighter grouping using the Eotech with magnifier.

Six Mile December 11 2016
The Stripers started getting hot in the creek entrances and half way back so when my friend came down from NC for the weekend it was a no brainer. We were going fishing!
The was just the one day where the weather half way cooperated. Still, we had to wear our cold weather gear to keep warm.
We put in at Charleston below the Six Mile ramp since it has a nicer dock and ramps. Once in we trolled live Herring and Trout up to the mouth of Six mIle then back and under the bridge to the back of the creek.
Although we saw a couple break the surface, we did not score any Striper this trip. My friend did manage about 3 Spots (Black Bass) so it was not a total loss.
Fish or no fish, Its always good to get out on the water!
Since we did not catch any fish, we had seafood for dinner to make up for it!
